Firedrake Dragon Candle, Bonfire Night Folk Horror Candle, 5th November Gift | Forget The Pumpkin

FORGET THE BONFIRE. FEAR THE FIREDRAKE.

In old English lore the firedrake was a fire-breathing dragon that streaked across the night sky like a blazing rocket - so much so that 'firedrake' became a word for fireworks and meteors. Ours rises from the bonfire, wings spread, jaws full of flame.

This is The Firedrake from the Forget The Pumpkin Bonfire Night collection by Wispling Press - British folklore monsters in a bold woodcut style, with a single fire red accent.

Hand-poured soy wax candle in a reusable amber glass jar with a black screw-top lid and a printed label of the design. Choose your scent: Autumn Spice, Bergamot and Oud, Peach or Alpine Forest. About 130g of wax, burn time 30+ hours. Jar 83mm tall x 65mm wide. Made in the UK.

Printed to order in the UK by our print partner and dispatched in about 3-5 working days. Each item is made just for you, which keeps waste down.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable.
