Welsh Folklore Halloween Cushion, Black Sow Woodcut, Gothic Decor (40x40cm)

A Welsh folklore Halloween cushion printed with our woodcut black sow.

Forget the pumpkin. Fear the sow.

On Nos Galan Gaeaf, the old Welsh Halloween, villagers ran home from the dying bonfire shouting that Yr Hwch Ddu Gwta, the tailless black sow, would catch the last one back. This cushion brings her back in a hand-cut woodcut style on natural unbleached cotton canvas.

A folk-horror Halloween cushion for gothic homes, reading nooks and anyone who prefers the old stories to plastic pumpkins. Designed by Wispling Press. Printed and shipped from the UK.

40 x 40 cm natural cotton canvas cover with polyfibre inner, zip closure. Printed on the front.

Care: remove inner, wash cover inside out at 30°C, do not tumble dry, do not iron the print.
